Althrocin 250 Tablet

Generic Name: Erythromycin
Class: Macrolide antibiotic

Uses

Treats bacterial infections of:

• Respiratory tract (throat, lungs)

• Ear, nose, throat (ENT)

• Skin and soft tissues

Dosage & Administration

• How to take: Swallow whole with water.

• When to take: 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals (empty stomach).

• Dosage: As prescribed; complete the full course even if symptoms improve.

Side Effects (Usually mild and temporary)

• Nausea, vomiting

• Abdominal pain, diarrhea

Precautions

• Avoid alcohol: May increase side effects.

• Liver/Kidney disease: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be needed.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Generally safe but consult a doctor.

• Allergy: Inform your doctor if allergic to macrolide antibiotics.

Missed Dose?

Take as soon as remembered. Skip if close to the next dose. Do not double the dose.
