Combination medicine for dry cough

Uses:

• Relieves dry cough (non-productive cough) caused by throat irritation, allergies, cold, or flu.

• Reduces associated symptoms: sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes.

Key Ingredients:

1. Dextromethorphan (cough suppressant) – Blocks brain’s cough reflex.

2. Chlorpheniramine (antihistamine) – Reduces allergic reactions.

Dosage:

• Take as prescribed (usually 3–4 times daily).

• Use measuring cup; shake well before use.

• Can be taken with/without food, but at fixed times.

Side Effects (usually temporary):

• Sleepiness · Dizziness · Sedation

• Avoid driving/operating machinery due to drowsiness.

Precautions:

• ❌ Avoid alcohol (worsens dizziness).

• ❌ Not recommended for liver disease patients.
