Ambrodil-S Syrup

Combination of Ambroxol + Salbutamol

Uses

• Treats cough by:

  • Thinning mucus in airways (easier to cough out).

  • Relaxing airway muscles for easier breathing.

Dosage

• Take as prescribed (with/without food).

• Use measuring cup; shake well before use.

• Do not stop early (symptoms may return).

Side Effects (Usually temporary)

• Headache, palpitations, upset stomach, tremors.

• Muscle cramps, dizziness, increased heart rate.

• Avoid driving/alcohol (may worsen drowsiness).

Precautions

• Consult doctor if:

  • Pregnant/breastfeeding.

  • Liver/kidney disease (dose adjustment may be needed).

• Keep out of children’s reach.

How It Works

• Ambroxol: Loosens mucus.

• Salbutamol: Opens airways (relieves wheezing/shortness of breath).

Missed Dose?

• Take ASAP, but skip if close to next dose. Never double dose.
