Uses:

• Asthma

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

• Bronchitis (relieves chest congestion & wheezing)

How It Works:

• Mucolytic: Thins & loosens mucus.

• Bronchodilator: Relaxes airway muscles for easier breathing.

Dosage:

• Take once daily in the evening with food.

• Follow doctor’s prescribed dose/duration.

• If missed: Take ASAP or skip if close to next dose.

Key Side Effects:

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, heartburn.

• Drowsiness, dizziness, rash, breathing issues (rare).

Safety Advice:

• Avoid alcohol (increases drowsiness).

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be needed.
