Amoxyclav 875mg/125mg Tablet

Composition: Amoxicillin (875mg) + Clavulanic Acid (125mg).
Class: Antibiotic (Penicillin/beta-lactamase inhibitor combination).

Uses

Treats bacterial infections of:

• Lungs (pneumonia)

• Ear, sinus, throat

• Urinary tract

• Skin, soft tissue, bones, teeth

Dosage & Administration

• Take with food to avoid stomach upset.

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Complete the full course (even if symptoms improve).

Side Effects

Common: Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, skin rash, vaginal/mouth fungal infections.
Rare: Allergic reactions, dizziness, liver/kidney effects.

Precautions

• Allergy: Avoid if allergic to penicillins.

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be needed.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Generally safe if prescribed.

• Alcohol: No interaction, but avoid to support recovery.

• Driving: May cause dizziness; avoid if affected.

Missed Dose

Take ASAP. If near next dose, skip missed dose. Do not double dose.

How It Works
