What is Augpen HS?

An antibiotic suspension containing amoxicillin + clavulanic acid. It treats bacterial infections (ear, throat, lungs, skin, urinary tract, etc.) and resistant tuberculosis (TB).

How to Give?

• With or without food (better with food to avoid stomach upset).

• Dose: Prescribed by the doctor based on infection type, severity, weight, and age.

• If vomited within 30 minutes, repeat the dose. Never double the next dose.

• Missed dose: Give ASAP if near the next dose time, skip and continue as scheduled.

Side Effects

Common (usually mild and temporary):

• Vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, allergies.
