Azithral KidTab (Azithromycin for Children)

Type: Antibiotic
Used for: Bacterial infections (ear, throat, lungs, skin, stomach, etc.).

Key Points:

1. Dosage:

   • Usually once daily (morning preferred).

   • For typhoid: twice daily.

   • Give with food to avoid stomach upset.

   • If vomited within 30 minutes, repeat the dose.

2. Course:

   • Complete the full prescribed course, even if the child feels better in 3–5 days.

3. Side Effects (usually mild):

   • Nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain.

   • Consult a doctor if persistent or severe.

4. Precautions:

   • Inform the doctor about any allergies, heart, liver, or kidney issues.
