Uses

Treats bacterial infections of:

• Respiratory tract (lungs, throat, sinuses)

• Ear, nose, skin, eyes

• Typhoid fever

• Sexually transmitted infections (e.g., gonorrhea)

Dosage & Administration

• How to take: Oral, with or without food (but best 1 hour before/2 hours after meals).

• Dosage: As prescribed; complete the full course even if symptoms improve.

• Missed dose: Take ASAP. Skip if close to next dose; never double dose.

Side Effects (Usually mild and temporary)

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
