Bepomax 1.5% Eye Drop

Generic Name: Bepotastine (Antihistamine)
Used For:

• Itchy, red, or swollen eyes due to allergies (allergic conjunctivitis).

• Nasal allergy symptoms (sneezing, runny nose).

• Allergic skin conditions.

How It Works:
Blocks histamine (a chemical causing allergy symptoms) to relieve itching and inflammation.

Dosage & Administration:

• Route: Eye drops (external use only).

• How to Apply:

  1. Wash hands.

  2. Tilt head back, pull lower eyelid down.

  3. Instill prescribed drops into the pocket formed. Avoid touching the dropper to the eye.

  4. Close eyes for 1–2 minutes to prevent drainage.

• Frequency: As directed by the doctor (usually 1–2 drops twice daily).

Side Effects (Common):

• Temporary eye irritation, blurred vision (avoid driving until clear).

• Headache, nasopharyngitis (throat/nose inflammation).

• Rare: Taste changes, nausea, fatigue.
