Active Ingredient: Ciprofloxacin (antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone class).
Used For: Bacterial infections of the eyes (e.g., conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers) or ears.

Key Instructions:

1. Dosage: Follow your doctor’s prescribed dose/duration. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.

2. Application:

   • Wash hands before/after use.

   • Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.

   • For eyes: Pull the lower eyelid down, instill drops, and blink gently.

   • For ears: Tilt head, apply drops, and keep tilted for a few seconds.

3. Avoid:

   • Contact lenses (unless approved by the doctor).

   • Sharing the bottle or using it for non-prescribed conditions.

Side Effects (Usually Mild):

• Eye discomfort, redness (ocular hyperemia), gritty feeling.

• Temporary corneal deposits (resolves on its own).

• Bitter taste in the mouth (harmless).

Precautions:

• Allergy: Do not use if allergic to ciprofloxacin/quinolones.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Consult a doctor before use.

• Driving: May cause temporary blurred vision—avoid until clear.

• Storage: Keep at room temperature; protect from light.

Missed Dose:

• Apply as soon as remembered. Skip if close to the next dose. Do not double dose.
