Clavam Paediatric Oral Suspension

Use: Treats bacterial infections (ear, throat, lungs, skin, urinary tract, etc.). Contains amoxycillin + clavulanic acid to overcome antibiotic resistance.

Dosage & Administration

• Give with food to boost absorption and reduce stomach upset.

• Shake well before use. Measure dose carefully with a cup/spoon.

• If vomiting occurs within 30 minutes, repeat the dose.

• Never double dose if a dose is missed. Give the missed dose when remembered (unless close to the next dose).

Side Effects (Usually mild and temporary)

• Vomiting, nausea, diarrhea. Consult the doctor if persistent/severe.

Precautions

• Inform the doctor if your child has:

  • Kidney/liver disease, allergies, or a history of gastrointestinal/blood disorders.

• Dose adjustments may be needed for liver/kidney conditions.
