Clopivas 300mg Tablet

Type: Antiplatelet (blood thinner)
Purpose: Prevents harmful blood clots to reduce risk of heart attack/stroke.

Key Uses:

• Prevention/treatment of heart attack, stroke.

• Peripheral vascular disease (narrowed blood vessels).

• Unstable angina (heart-related chest pain).

• Post-heart procedures (e.g., stenting).

Dosage & Administration:

• Take once daily, with/without food, at a fixed time.

• Do not crush/chew; swallow whole.

• Do not stop abruptly without consulting your doctor.

Common Side Effects:

• Bleeding (nosebleeds, bruising, black stools, heavy periods).

• Abdominal pain, diarrhea, indigestion.

• Seek help if bleeding is severe/prolonged.

Safety Advice:

• Avoid if: Active bleeding (e.g., ulcer, brain hemorrhage).

• Consult doctor before use if:

  • Pregnancy/breastfeeding.

  • Bleeding disorders or upcoming surgery/dental work.

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Safe (no dose adjustment needed).

• Alcohol: Caution advised (may increase bleeding risk).

Missed Dose:

• Take as soon as remembered; skip if close to next dose. Never double dose.

How It Works:

Blocks platelet clumping to prevent clot formation in blood vessels.
