Cresar H Tablet

Composition: Telmisartan + Hydrochlorothiazide
Use: Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single drug is insufficient.

Key Benefits:

• Lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels (telmisartan) and removing excess fluid (hydrochlorothiazide).

• Reduces long-term risks of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

Dosage & Administration:

• Take once daily, with or without food, at a fixed time.

• Avoid taking close to bedtime (may cause frequent urination).

• Do not stop abruptly—even if you feel well.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness, fatigue, nausea.

• Frequent urination (expected due to diuretic effect).

• Low magnesium levels (monitor if symptoms like muscle cramps occur).

Important Safety Warnings:

• Avoid alcohol (may worsen dizziness or lower BP further).

• Unsafe in pregnancy (risk of fetal harm).

• Caution in kidney/liver disease (dose adjustment may be needed).

• Not recommended for severe kidney impairment.

• May cause drowsiness—avoid driving if affected.

Missed Dose?

• Take as soon as remembered, but skip if close to the next dose. Do not double dose.
