Uses:

• Treats mild to moderate dementia in Alzheimer’s disease (improves memory/thinking but does not cure).

• May help with dementia in Parkinson’s disease.

Dosage:

• Take once daily at bedtime, with or without food.

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Dose adjustments as per doctor’s advice.

How It Works:

• Increases acetylcholine (a brain chemical for nerve signaling) to improve memory.

Side Effects

Common:

• Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting

• Insomnia, headache, fatigue

• Weight loss, loss of appetite

• Common cold, rash, urinary incontinence

Manage by: Drinking fluids, taking with food. Side effects often fade with time.
