Combination: Dutasteride + Tamsulosin
Used for: Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) in men (not for prostate cancer prevention).

Key Benefits:

• Relieves urinary symptoms (difficulty urinating, frequent/urgent need).

• Shrinks prostate (Dutasteride) + relaxes bladder muscles (Tamsulosin).

• Full effects may take up to 6 months.

Dosage:

• Take once daily, same time (with/without food).

• Do not miss doses even if symptoms improve.

Common Side Effects:

• Impotence, decreased libido, ejaculation disorders.

• Dizziness, drowsiness (avoid driving/alcohol).

• Breast tenderness/enlargement (in men).

Warnings:

• Avoid in: Women, children, severe liver disease.

• Caution in: Low BP, kidney/liver issues.

• Interactions: Inform doctor about other medicines.

• Pregnancy risk: Use condoms (risk to fetus if partner is pregnant).

If You Miss a Dose:
