Emeset 4 Tablet

Uses:

• Prevents/treats nausea & vomiting caused by:

  • Chemotherapy/radiotherapy.

  • Post-surgery.

  • Stomach upset (not motion sickness).

Dosage:

• Take as prescribed, usually 1st dose before treatment/surgery.

• Swallow whole, with/without food.

• Fixed timings for best results.

How It Works:

• Blocks serotonin (a brain chemical triggering nausea/vomiting).

Side Effects (Usually mild/temporary):

• Headache, fatigue, constipation, diarrhea.

Safety Advice:

• Kidney/Liver Issues:

  • Kidney disease: Safe, but inform doctor if used >1 day.

  • Liver disease: Consult doctor.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Doctor approval needed.

• Alcohol: Caution advised.

• Driving: Avoid if drowsy/dizzy.

Missed Dose:

• Take ASAP. Skip if near next dose; never double dose.

Key Warning:

• Does not treat other side effects of chemotherapy or motion sickness.

Consult Doctor:

• If on epilepsy/heart/depression/cancer meds (risk of interactions).
