Uses:

Controls nausea & vomiting caused by:

Chemotherapy/radiotherapy

Post-surgery

Stomach upset

Not effective for motion sickness.
Dosage:

Take as prescribed, usually before surgery/chemotherapy.

Swallow whole, with/without food.
-
Follow fixed timing; avoid doubling doses.
Side Effects:

Headache, fatigue, constipation, diarrhea (usually temporary).
Precautions:

Consult doctor if pregnant/breastfeeding.

Avoid alcohol (may worsen side effects).

Safe for kidney disease (monitor if used >1 day).

Liver/heart disease or intestinal blockage: Inform doctor.

Drug interactions: Epilepsy/heart/cancer/depression medications.
How It Works:
Blocks serotonin (a brain chemical triggering nausea/vomiting).
If You Miss a Dose:
Take ASAP, but skip if close to next dose.
Note: Does not treat other side effects of chemotherapy.
