Emeset 8 Tablet

Uses:

• Controls nausea & vomiting caused by:

  • Chemotherapy/radiotherapy

  • Post-surgery

  • Stomach upset

• Not effective for motion sickness.

Dosage:

• Take as prescribed, usually before surgery/chemotherapy.

• Swallow whole, with/without food.

• Follow fixed timing; avoid doubling doses.

Side Effects:

• Headache, fatigue, constipation, diarrhea (usually temporary).

Precautions:

• Consult doctor if pregnant/breastfeeding.

• Avoid alcohol (may worsen side effects).

• Safe for kidney disease (monitor if used >1 day).

• Liver/heart disease or intestinal blockage: Inform doctor.

• Drug interactions: Epilepsy/heart/cancer/depression medications.

How It Works:
Blocks serotonin (a brain chemical triggering nausea/vomiting).

If You Miss a Dose:
Take ASAP, but skip if close to next dose.

Note: Does not treat other side effects of chemotherapy.
