Gestofit 200mg SR Tablet

Active Ingredient: Progesterone (a natural female hormone).

Uses:

1. Female Infertility

   • Regulates ovulation/menstruation, thickens uterine lining for pregnancy.

2. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

   • Combined with estrogen to relieve menopause symptoms (hot flashes, vaginal dryness) and prevent endometrial hyperplasia.

Dosage:

• Take with food, at the same time daily.

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

Side Effects (Common):

• Headache, breast pain, nausea, bloating, vaginal spotting, mood swings, hair loss, edema.

• Usually subside with continued use.

Precautions:

• Avoid alcohol/smoking. May worsen side effects.

• Driving: May cause dizziness/drowsiness. Avoid if affected.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Safe if prescribed.

• Liver/Kidney Disease: Consult doctor before use.

Missed Dose:

• Take ASAP. Skip if close to next dose; never double dose.

Warning:

• Inform doctor if you have:

  • History of breast cancer, liver disease, or abnormal vaginal bleeding.

  • Other medications (may interact).
