Intimacy Plus Tablet

Combination: Ethinylestradiol (0.03 mg) + Levonorgestrel (0.15 mg)
Uses:

• Contraception (prevents pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation and sperm movement).

• Treatment of irregular menstrual cycles.

• May reduce ovarian cancer risk.

Dosage:

• Start on Day 1 of menstruation. Take 1 tablet daily at the same time, with or without food.

• Continue for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break (or as per pack instructions).

• If missed:

  • ≤12 hours late: Take immediately.

  • 12 hours late: Use backup contraception (e.g., condoms) for 48 hours.

  • If vomiting occurs within 4 hours of dosing, take another pill.

Side Effects:

• Common: Nausea, headache, breast tenderness, weight gain, irregular bleeding.

• Serious (rare): Blood clots (watch for leg swelling, chest pain, vision changes).

Precautions:

• Avoid if: Pregnant, breastfeeding, or with history of blood clots, heart disease, liver/cancer issues.

• Consult a doctor before use if: Smoker >35 years, on other medications, or have hypertension/diabetes.

Safety:

• 🚭 Pregnancy: Unsafe.

• 🍼 Breastfeeding: Unsafe (use progestin-only pills).

• 🍷 Alcohol: Caution advised.

• 🚗 Driving: No significant effect.
