Active Ingredient: Ivabradine
Used For:

• Treatment of angina (heart-related chest pain)

• Chronic heart failure (to reduce hospitalization risk)

How It Works:

• Lowers heart rate, reducing the heart’s oxygen demand.

• Improves heart efficiency, relieving chest pain and stabilizing heart failure.

Dosage & Administration:

• Take with food, at the same time daily.

• Do not stop abruptly without consulting your doctor (lifelong therapy may be needed).

• Missed Dose? Skip it; never double the dose.

Common Side Effects:

• Temporary brightness/light flashes in vision (phosphenes).

• Slow heart rate, dizziness, blurred vision.

• High blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, ECG changes.

Serious Side Effects (Seek Immediate Help):

• Fainting, severe dizziness, irregular heartbeat.

Contraindications (Do Not Use If):

• Severe liver disease or very low resting heart rate.

• Heart rhythm disorders (e.g., severe arrhythmias).

• Recent worsening of heart failure or very low BP.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Unsafe (risk of fetal harm/toxicity to baby).

Precautions:

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be needed.
