Class: Antihistamine
Used For:

• Allergic conditions (hay fever, conjunctivitis, eczema, hives, insect bites/stings).

• Symptoms: Sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, skin itching/swelling.

Key Points:

• Dosage: Take as prescribed, usually once daily in the evening. Can be taken with/without food.

• Missed Dose: Skip if close to next dose; never double dose.

• Side Effects:

  • Common: Sleepiness, dry mouth, fatigue, sore throat, cough, mild fever, nosebleeds.
