Composition: Chlordiazepoxide (25mg)

Uses

• Treatment of severe anxiety (short-term relief).

• Management of alcohol withdrawal symptoms (reduces anxiety, muscle spasms).

How It Works

Librium enhances the effect of GABA (a calming neurotransmitter) in the brain, reducing excessive nerve activity and promoting relaxation.

Dosage & Administration

• Take once daily, with or without food, at a fixed time.

• Do not crush/chew. Swallow whole.

• Avoid caffeine/chocolate (may reduce effectiveness).

• Do not stop suddenly—taper under medical supervision.

Side Effects

Common:

• Drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, unsteadiness.

• Poor coordination, lightheadedness.
