Drug Class: Anti-thyroid agent
Used For: Treatment of hyperthyroidism (reduces thyroid hormone production).
Dosage & Administration:

Take with or without food, as prescribed.

Swallow whole; do not chew/crush.

Consistent timing improves effectiveness.

Do not stop abruptly without doctor’s advice.
Side Effects:
Common: Skin rash, nausea/vomiting, dizziness (vertigo), joint/muscle pain, hair loss, headache, drowsiness, taste changes.
→ Inform doctor if persistent/severe.
Precautions & Warnings:

Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Unsafe—may harm baby. Use only if absolutely necessary.

Missed Dose:
