Momate Lotion

Active Ingredient: Mometasone (Topical Steroid)
Used For:

• Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rashes

• Reduces inflammation, itching, redness

Key Instructions:

✔ Apply a thin layer to affected area.
✔ Use only as prescribed (avoid long-term use).
✔ Do not cover with bandages unless advised.
✔ Avoid use on broken/ulcerated skin, face, or sensitive areas unless directed.
✔ Stop and consult doctor if no improvement after 2 weeks.

Side Effects (Rare):

• Burning/stinging/itching at application site

• Hair follicle inflammation (folliculitis)

Precautions:

⚠ Avoid if allergic to mometasone.
⚠ Inform doctor about:

• Skin infections, diabetes, immune disorders

• Other steroid medications
  ⚠ Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Consult doctor (safety not fully established).

How It Works:

Blocks inflammatory chemicals (prostaglandins), reducing skin redness and swelling.

Missed Dose?

Apply as soon as remembered; skip if close to next dose. Never double dose.
