Monocef-O 50 Oral Suspension
Type: Antibiotic (Cefixime-based)
Used for: Bacterial infections (ear, throat, lungs, skin, urinary tract, typhoid). Not for viral cold/flu.
Dosage & Administration:

Give 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals (if stomach upset, give with food).

Measure dose carefully using a cup/spoon. Shake well before use.

If vomited within 30 mins, repeat the dose. Do not double the next dose.
Common Side Effects:

Vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, rash, abdominal pain.

Usually temporary; consult a doctor if persistent/severe.
Precautions:

Avoid if allergic to cephalosporins/penicillins.

Inform the doctor about kidney/liver disease, allergies, or other medical conditions.

Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
Missed Dose:

Give as soon as remembered. Skip if close to the next dose. Never double dose.
