Monocef-O CV 200/125 Tablet

Composition:

• Cefpodoxime Proxetil (200mg) + Clavulanic Acid (125mg)

Use:

• Treats respiratory tract infections (sinus, throat, airways, lungs).

How It Works:

• Cefpodoxime: Stops bacterial cell wall formation.

• Clavulanic Acid: Enhances efficacy by preventing bacterial resistance.

Dosage:

• Take as prescribed, with/without food, at a fixed time.

• Do not crush/chew. Complete the full course.

Side Effects:

• Common: Nausea, diarrhea, headache, abdominal pain, rash.

• Serious (rare): Allergic reactions (swelling, breathing difficulty).

Precautions:

• Avoid alcohol (may increase drowsiness).

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Consult doctor.

• Driving: May cause dizziness; avoid if affected.

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Dose adjustment may be needed.

If Missed Dose:
