New Normet Oral Suspension

Composition: Ofloxacin + Metronidazole (antibiotic + antiparasitic)
Used in: Bacterial & parasitic infections (dental, lung, gut, urinary, genital), diarrhea, dysentery.

Dosage & Administration

• How to give: Orally, with or without food (give with food if stomach upset occurs).

• Frequency: Usually twice daily (morning & evening).

• If vomited within 30 mins: Repeat dose. Never double dose if next dose is due.

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.

Common Side Effects

Nausea, vomiting, metallic taste, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, urine discoloration. These usually subside as the body adjusts.

Precautions

• Inform the doctor if your child has:

  • Allergies, kidney/liver/heart issues.

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be needed.
