Novamox Paediatric Drops

Active Ingredient: Amoxicillin (antibiotic)

Uses in Children:

✔ Bacterial infections (ear, throat, lungs, skin, urinary tract, etc.)
✔ Peptic ulcer disease (combined with other drugs to kill H. pylori)

Dosage:

• Give 2–3 times daily, as prescribed.

• Can be taken with or without food (give with food if stomach upset occurs).

• If vomited within 30 minutes, repeat the dose.

• Do not double dose if a scheduled dose is missed.

Side Effects (usually mild & temporary):

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

• Skin rash, abdominal pain

• Allergic reactions (rare; stop and consult doctor if severe)

Safety Tips:

• Kidney disease: Use with caution (dose adjustment may be needed).

• Liver disease: Safe (no dose change required).
