Olmat-H Tablet

Combination: Olmesartan (ARB) + Hydrochlorothiazide (Diuretic)
Use: Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) when single therapy is ineffective.

Key Benefits:

• Lowers BP by relaxing blood vessels (Olmesartan) and removing excess fluid (Hydrochlorothiazide).

• Reduces long-term risks of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

Dosage:

• Take once daily, with or without food, at a fixed time.

• Avoid taking within 4 hours of bedtime (to prevent frequent urination at night).

• Do not stop abruptly; continue as prescribed.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness, weakness, headache, tiredness, swelling (edema), increased uric acid/triglycerides.

• Rare: Eye pressure changes (risk of glaucoma), liver/kidney markers elevation.

Safety Warnings:

• Avoid alcohol (lowers BP further, increases dizziness).

• Driving: May cause drowsiness/dizziness; avoid if affected.

Missed Dose:

• Take ASAP if remembered, but skip if close to next dose. Never double dose.
