Active Ingredient: Ondansetron (4mg)
Class: Antiemetic (5-HT3 receptor antagonist)
Uses:

Prevents/treats nausea & vomiting caused by:

Chemotherapy/radiotherapy

Post-surgery
-
Stomach upset (limited use in motion sickness)

Dosage & Administration:

Take as prescribed, usually:
-
Before surgery/chemotherapy.

After treatment (for a few days).
-

Swallow whole, with/without food, at fixed times.

Do not crush/chew.
Side Effects (Common):

Headache
-
Fatigue
-
Constipation/diarrhea
(Usually temporary; consult doctor if persistent.)
Precautions:

Avoid alcohol (may worsen side effects).

Consult doctor if:

Heart/liver disease, stomach blockage.

Pregnant/breastfeeding.

Taking epilepsy/heart/cancer/depression meds (interactions possible).

Driving: Caution advised (may cause drowsiness).

Missed Dose?

Take ASAP; skip if close to next dose. Never double dose.
How It Works:
Blocks serotonin (a chemical messenger) in the brain/gut to reduce nausea/vomiting triggers.
