Ondem 8 Tablet

Active Ingredient: Ondansetron (8mg)
Class: Antiemetic (prevents nausea/vomiting)

Uses:

• Controls nausea/vomiting caused by:

  • Chemotherapy/radiotherapy.

  • Post-surgery.

  • Stomach upset (not motion sickness).

Dosage:

• Take as prescribed, usually 1st dose before surgery/chemotherapy.

• Swallow whole, with/without food.

• Follow fixed timings; avoid double doses.

Side Effects (Usually temporary):

• Headache, fatigue.

• Constipation/diarrhea.

Precautions:

• Consult your doctor if:

  • You have heart/liver disease or stomach blockage.

  • You’re taking epilepsy/heart/depression/cancer drugs (interactions possible).

  • Pregnant/breastfeeding.

• Avoid alcohol (may worsen side effects).

• Kidney patients: Safe, but inform doctor if used >1 day.

• Liver patients: Use under medical supervision.

How It Works:

Blocks serotonin (a brain chemical triggering nausea/vomiting).

If You Miss a Dose:

Take ASAP, but skip if close to next dose.
