Combination Medicine for Type 2 Diabetes

Uses:

• Controls blood sugar in adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (with diet/exercise).

• Improves insulin sensitivity and reduces glucose production.

Dosage:

• Take once daily with food (as prescribed).

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Missed dose? Take ASAP, but skip if near next dose. Never double dose.

Side Effects:

• Common: Nausea, diarrhea, swelling (edema), headache, hypoglycemia.

• Serious (rare): Lactic acidosis (symptoms: muscle pain, trouble breathing). Seek help if severe.

Warnings:

• Avoid alcohol (increases hypoglycemia/swelling risk).

• Kidney/Liver Issues: Use cautiously; avoid in severe disease.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Unsafe – consult doctor.

• Driving: Caution if dizziness/low blood sugar occurs.
