Generic Name: Ramipril
Class: ACE Inhibitor

Uses:

• Treats high blood pressure (hypertension).

• Manages heart failure.

• Prevents heart attack/stroke (especially post-heart attack).

How It Works:

• Relaxes blood vessels, reduces heart stress, and improves blood flow.

Dosage:

• Take 1.25 mg once daily (or as prescribed).

• Can be taken with or without food, but at a fixed time daily.

• Do not stop abruptly even if asymptomatic.

Side Effects (Common):
