Roxid Kid 50mg Tablet (Antibiotic for Children)

Uses:

• Treats bacterial infections (ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, urinary tract, typhoid, gonorrhea).

Dosage & Administration:

• Give orally, preferably 15 mins before or 3 hours after food (can give with food if stomach upset occurs).

• Twice daily (morning & evening) as prescribed.

• Complete the full course (5–10 days) even if symptoms improve.

• If vomited within 30 mins, repeat the dose.

How It Works:

• Stops bacterial growth by blocking protein synthesis.

Side Effects:

• Mild: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain (usually temporary).

• Consult a doctor if persistent or severe.

Precautions:

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Generally safe for mild kidney issues; use cautiously in liver disease.

• Allergies/Medical History: Inform the doctor of any allergies, heart, liver, or kidney conditions.

Missed Dose:

• Give as soon as remembered; skip if close to the next dose. Never double dose.
