Type: SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) antidepressant.

Uses:

Treats:

• Depression

• Anxiety/Panic disorder

• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

• Phobias

• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Benefits:

• Improves mood, reduces anxiety/panic attacks.

• Enhances coping ability.

Dosage:

• Take as prescribed (usually once daily).

• Start with low dose; gradually increased by doctor.

• Do not stop abruptly (risk of withdrawal symptoms).
