Uses:

Treats erectile dysfunction (ED) by enhancing blood flow to the penis.

Also used for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
How It Works:

PDE-5 inhibitor: Relaxes penile blood vessels, improving erection only with sexual stimulation.
Dosage:

Take 1 hour before sexual activity (with/without food).

Do not exceed once daily.
Side Effects:

Common: Flushing, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, upset stomach, muscle pain, rash.

Serious (rare): Priapism (prolonged erection), sudden vision/hearing loss. Seek medical help if these occur.
Precautions:

Avoid with nitrates (e.g., chest pain meds) → Dangerous BP drop.

Contraindicated: Severe heart/liver disease, recent stroke/heart attack, very low BP.

Alcohol: Unsafe (increases side effects).

Driving: May cause dizziness/blurred vision; avoid if affected.
