Composition: Nimesulide + Paracetamol
Category: NSAID (Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug)

Uses:

• Short-term relief from pain, inflammation, and fever.

• Conditions: Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle/back pain, toothache, ear/throat pain.

Dosage:

• Take with food to avoid stomach upset.

• Follow doctor’s prescribed dose/duration.

• Banned for children <12 years (MoHFW directive).

How It Works:

Blocks chemical messengers (prostaglandins) causing pain, fever, and swelling.

Side Effects:

• Common: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, elevated liver enzymes.

• Serious: Stomach ulcers, kidney/liver issues (report to doctor).

Safety Advice:

• Avoid alcohol (increases drowsiness/liver risk).
