Tellzy-H Tablet

Composition: Telmisartan + Hydrochlorothiazide
Use: Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single drug is ineffective.

Dosage & Administration

• How to take: Swallow whole with/without food, preferably at a fixed time daily.

Side Effects

• Dizziness, fatigue, nausea, low magnesium levels.
  Note: Frequent urination is expected (due to the diuretic effect).

Rare/Severe:

• Irregular heartbeat, severe dehydration, electrolyte imbalance.

Safety Advice

• Alcohol: May worsen dizziness/low BP → Avoid or consult doctor.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Unsafe (risk to baby).

• Driving: Use caution (may cause drowsiness/dizziness).

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Dose adjustment needed. Avoid in severe kidney disease.

• Missed Dose: Take ASAP, but skip if close to the next dose. Never double dose.

Important Warnings

• Avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless prescribed.

• Regular BP monitoring is essential (even if asymptomatic).
