Composition: Telmisartan + Hydrochlorothiazide
Use: Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single drug is insufficient.

Key Benefits:

• Lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels (telmisartan) and removing excess fluid (hydrochlorothiazide).

• Reduces risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney problems long-term.

Dosage & Administration:

• Take once daily, with or without food, at a fixed time.

• Avoid taking within 4 hours of bedtime (increased urination).

• Do not stop abruptly—even if you feel well.

Common Side Effects:

• Dizziness, fatigue, nausea, low magnesium levels.

• Frequent urination is expected (due to diuretic effect).

Safety Warnings:

• Avoid in pregnancy (risk to fetus) and breastfeeding.

• Caution with alcohol (may worsen dizziness/low BP).

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Dose adjustment may be needed. Avoid in severe kidney disease.

• Driving: May cause drowsiness/dizziness—avoid if affected.

Missed Dose?

• Take as soon as remembered. Skip if close to next dose. Do not double dose.

Important Notes:

• Avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless prescribed.

• Regular monitoring of BP, kidney function, and electrolytes is advised.
