Telma-MCT 50/6.25 Tablet ER is a fixed-dose combination medication used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It contains three active ingredients:

1. Telmisartan (50mg) – An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin, a hormone that constricts blood vessels.

2. Metoprolol Succinate (ER) (6.25mg) – A beta-blocker that reduces heart rate and cardiac output, lowering blood pressure.

3. Chlorthalidone (6.25mg) – A thiazide-like diuretic that removes excess water and electrolytes (like sodium) from the body, reducing blood volume and pressure.
