What is Telpres CT 40/6.25 Tablet?
It is a combination of two blood pressure-lowering medicines:

Telmisartan (40mg) – Relaxes blood vessels for better blood flow.

Chlorthalidone (6.25mg) – A diuretic (“water pill”) that removes excess fluid, lowering blood pressure.
Why is it prescribed?

To treat hypertension (high blood pressure).

Reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, or kidney problems when taken long-term.
How to Take It

Dose: As prescribed by your doctor.

Timing: Preferably at the same time daily (avoid taking within 4 hours of bedtime to prevent nighttime urination).

With/without food: Can be taken either way.
