Uses:

• Treats high blood pressure (hypertension).

• Manages heart failure.

• Prevents heart attack/stroke and protects kidney function in diabetics.

How It Works:

• Angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB): Relaxes blood vessels by blocking a tightening chemical, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure.

Dosage:

• Take once daily, with/without food, at a fixed time.

• Do not chew/crush. Swallow whole.

• Missed dose? Skip it; never double dose.

Lifestyle Tips:

• Exercise, reduce salt/alcohol, quit smoking, maintain healthy weight.

Side Effects (Usually Mild):

• Diarrhea, dizziness, back pain, sinusitis, upper respiratory infections.
