What is Terbest Tablet Used For?

Terbest Tablet is an antifungal medicine prescribed to treat:

• Fungal infections of the skin, nails, and scalp (e.g., ringworm, athlete’s foot).

• Severe fungal infections requiring oral treatment.

• Dandruff caused by fungal overgrowth.

How Does It Work?

Terbest Tablet contains terbinafine, which kills fungi by destroying their cell membranes. This stops the growth and spread of infection.

Dosage & Administration

• Take once daily (or as prescribed) with or without food.

• Swallow whole—do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Avoid caffeine/chocolate (tea, cocoa, etc.) during treatment.

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.

Common Side Effects

Most side effects are mild and temporary:

• Headache, nausea, taste changes.

• Abdominal pain, diarrhea, indigestion.

• Rash, itching, elevated liver enzymes.
