Overview

Tobacin 20mg Injection is a potent antibiotic used to treat or prevent serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms. It is effective against a broad spectrum of infections, including:

• Respiratory: Pneumonia, lung abscesses

• Abdominal: Peritonitis, intra-abdominal infections

• CNS: Meningitis

• UTIs & Kidney Infections

• Bone/Joint Infections

• Septicemia (bloodstream infections)

Mechanism of Action

• Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death.

• Primarily bactericidal against Gram-negative bacteria (e.g., E. coli, Pseudomonas).

Dosage & Administration

• Route: IV infusion/IM injection (strictly under medical supervision).
