Uses: Treatment of overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms (frequent/urgent urination, incontinence).

Key Points:

• Dosage: Take as prescribed, with/without food, at the same time daily. Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Works by: Relaxing bladder muscles (antimuscarinic action) to reduce urinary urgency.

Side Effects:

• Common: Dry mouth, constipation, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, sleepiness, diarrhea.

• Management: Drink water for dry mouth; avoid driving if drowsy.

Safety Advice:

• Alcohol: Unsafe (increases drowsiness).

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Consult doctor (potential risks).

• Driving: Unsafe (may cause drowsiness/blurred vision).

• Kidney/Liver Disease: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be needed.

If Missed Dose:

Take ASAP, but skip if close to next dose. Do not double dose.
