Urimax 0.4 (Tamsulosin) Ecopack Capsule MR

Use:

• Treats benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by relieving urinary symptoms (difficulty urinating, frequent/urgent need).

• Does not shrink the prostate.

Dosage:

• Take 0.4 mg once daily, with/without food, at the same time each day.

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Complete the course as prescribed.

Key Side Effects:

• Dizziness, headache, retrograde ejaculation.

• Nasal congestion, back/abdominal pain, nausea.

• Rare: Chest pain, allergic reactions.

Precautions:

• Avoid alcohol (increases dizziness).

• Liver patients: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be needed.

• Eye surgery: Inform surgeon (risk of “floppy iris syndrome”).

• Not for women/children.

Lifestyle Tips:

• Urinate when needed; avoid straining.

• Limit caffeine/alcohol before bedtime.
