Purpose: Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Mechanism:

Increases insulin release from the pancreas.

Reduces blood sugar by decreasing sugar-producing hormones.
Key Instructions:

Dosage: As prescribed (usually once daily). Can be taken with/without food.

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), dizziness, nausea, headache, fatigue.
