Composition: Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid (antibiotic combination).

Uses

Treats bacterial infections of:

• Lungs (pneumonia), ear, sinus, urinary tract, skin, soft tissue, bones, joints.

• Not effective against viral infections (e.g., common cold).

Dosage & Administration

• Take with food to avoid stomach upset.

• Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve to prevent antibiotic resistance.

How It Works

• Amoxicillin: Kills bacteria by disrupting their cell wall.

• Clavulanic Acid: Blocks bacterial enzymes that resist amoxicillin, enhancing its effect.

Side Effects

Common (usually mild):

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

• Skin rash, fungal infections (mouth/vagina), vaginal inflammation.

• Consult a doctor if persistent or severe.

• Alcohol: Safe (no interaction).
