Mega-CV 375 Tablet
Composition: Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid (antibiotic combination).
Uses
Treats bacterial infections of:
Lungs (pneumonia), ear, sinus, urinary tract, skin, soft tissue, bones, joints.
Not effective against viral infections (e.g., common cold).
Dosage & Administration
Take with food to avoid stomach upset.
Swallow whole; do not crush/chew.
Complete the full course even if symptoms improve to prevent antibiotic resistance.
How It Works
Amoxicillin: Kills bacteria by disrupting their cell wall.
Clavulanic Acid: Blocks bacterial enzymes that resist amoxicillin, enhancing its effect.
Side Effects
Common (usually mild):
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Skin rash, fungal infections (mouth/vagina), vaginal inflammation.
