Key Uses

• Prevents asthma attacks and exercise-induced breathing difficulties.

• Treats allergy symptoms (runny nose, sneezing, itchy/watery eyes, nasal congestion).

Dosage & Administration

• Give at a fixed time, with or without food (as prescribed).

• For asthma: Preferably in the evening or 2 hours before physical activity.

• For allergies: Best given in the evening (or as per symptom timing).

• If vomited within 30 mins, repeat the dose; skip if close to the next dose.

• Chew completely before swallowing.

Important Notes

• Takes weeks to show full preventive effects (for asthma).

• Complete the full course—do not stop abruptly.

• Side effects (usually mild & temporary):

  • Headache, fever, diarrhea, abdominal pain, upper respiratory infection.

Safety & Precautions

• Safe for kidney/liver disease (no dose adjustment usually needed, but consult a doctor in severe cases).

Missed Dose?
